Young Professionals Council

The ALDEA Young Professionals Council (YPC) was formed in October 2020 with the purpose of supporting ALDEA’s mission through fundraising and awareness-building initiatives that strengthen and diversify our outreach networks. Located throughout the U.S. and in Guatemala, YPC members bring a variety of experiences and interests to their volunteer roles with ALDEA.

Young Professionals Council

The YPC offers an internship-like opportunity for those interested in sharing their personal and professional gifts in a non-profit auxiliary board setting. Members will join a virtual cohort for 12-18 months to work with ALDEA. Members will be mentored by experienced ALDEA board members, gain leadership and technical skills related to non-profit work (including fundraising and programming), and help build awareness of ALDEA’s mission.
