In Paxorotot, Tecpán, the water project has been completely finished. Families now have more access to more water and better yet, it’s potable! On top of that, the maintenance costs are exceedingly low due to the fact that the water plant’s pump system is powered by 90 panels providing renewable solar energy.
In addition to potable water and gray water filters, ABPD has begun work on supporting the community with the construction of latrines. We look forward to seeing the improved health of families participating in the program, especially the little ones that suffer from chronic malnutrition.
