$20,000 in 20 MIles:
Grand Canyon Hike 2024

In Guatemala, 46.5% of children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition, which significantly affects their growth and development. Addressing this critical issue is a central focus of ALDEA’s efforts to support rural families. We work to improve health and well-being through initiatives that include nutrition programs, agriculture training, sanitation projects, and community mobilization.

On October 27, a team of three leaders from ALDEA and our partner organization ABPD will embark on a challenging 20-mile trek through the Grand Canyon in less than 24 hours to raise $20,000 to fund 12 families’ participation in our comprehensive three-year program. We invite you to join us in supporting families as they chart a path to healthier futures. Together we can raise awareness about chronic malnutrition and bolster families’ efforts to build resilience and achieve better health!

Help us raise $20,000 during the month of October to support 12 families!
