Join us in Guatemala for the weekend of June 17-18, 2017! Meet with other supporters, connect with former volunteers and medical student interns who worked closely with Doc from the 1960s through the 1980s, meet the people who are part of our current work, walk the streets of Antigua, and more!
On Sunday afternoon and evening, we will be hosting a fundraising celebration event and banquet at the Porta Hotel Antigua! A social hour with cash bar will begin at 5:00 PM; Dinner Celebration at 6:30 PM, with music and dancing to follow.
Please note, the reservation cost will increase from $50 to $60 per guest after April 15. Please register as soon as possible!

Once you have registered for the dinner, design your own itinerary from our list of optional weekend activities in and around Antigua! ALDEA-sponsored activities include a Friday site visit to one of our partner communities and a Saturday evening cocktail party hosted by an ALDEA board member. We ask that you please let us know your plans for attending either of these events by May 15.
We highly recommend making your travel plans right away, as accommodations in Antigua tend to fill up. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Porta Hotel Antigua, 8a Calle Poniente, No. 1. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit antiguatours.net to make a reservation. You can also make reservations elsewhere; contact Barbara Yost at (703) 329-5333 or email@example.com or Jessica LaBumbard at (313) 205-4249 or firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance and other hotel recommendations. We can also assist you with shuttle transportation to/from the airport, or you can arrange your own.
The Antigua area also offers plenty of additional visitor opportunities you can plan on your own. The New York Times produced a 36-hour weekend travel piece highlighting Antigua’s attractions in 2015. View their video and recommendations here.
